We first visited Dark Hour in 2014, and then the show was awesome. When given the chance, GO!!! You will thank yourself!! We laughed and screamed so much that our stomachs and throats were killing us! You will be AMAZED by the utter creativity and beauty in this scare house!! In the 20-30 minutes we walked the path, we were in awe, and then scared.awed, and scared. I dont jump normally in these places, but let me say, I was sweating, laughing, and checking my heart rate after completing this. You get so distracted looking at the snow falling, amazing displays, and props that you forget you are about to get scared. Let me say that this is BY FAR the prettiest haunted house I have EVER seen. and got in within 10 minutes without having to buy a fast pass. Upon arriving, you are greeted by creepy characters and pleasing staff. There are 2 houses, but we only did the haunted house, so that is all this review will cover. We just moved to Texas and was so excited when I saw an ad for this attraction. And Dark hour does space groups, so that also wasn't Dark Hour's fault. We let 2 groups pass us up because they were powerwalking through. I was sore, tired, and after 3 hours you'd think people would want to take their time walking through, but no. If we get the chance to go back (it's 2 hour drive to Dallas for me), I would only do so on a week night, for sure! The wait and other customers kinda ruined it for me. They run specials during the week to try to pull people in. And it is for a reason! The staff member I spoke to said the day before they had over 4000 guests, that night easily was triple the people, and it was the busiest that they had ever been.

Big mistake!! We had to park 3 blocks away and waited in line for a full 3 hours before we made it in.

My family and I went the Saturday/weekend before Halloween. The staff outside and actors were super nice. They really invest in their sets and I am sooo impressed. This is the best quality haunt that I have ever been to.
